The Joint at 1710 is crafted after traditional Jazz Halls that were popular in the heartland of the US in the 1940's. Set in the historical district of Main Street, in downtown Columbia, SC, our venue provides a warm/rustic setting for all customers to enjoy our cuisine, craft cocktails, and unequalled live jazz and blues entertainment.

We have brought the spirit of a truly special venue back to Columbia that was originally created at the same location under Barry Walker's "Macs in Main". The Joint features local, regional and national live jazz and blues bands Thursday through Saturday weekly. In the past, artists like B.B. King, Ray Charles, and other music Legends, have frequented Macs on Main, we look forward to continuing that legacy at the Joint.
